As from July 2008, I am moving to the University of Adelaide

I conduct research in areas of: Computer Vision, Historical Film Restoration, Multimedia, Remote Sensing, Medical Imaging, and related areas.

I am on the editorial board of (Int. J. Computer Vision - since Nov. 2003) (Machine Vision and Applications - since April 2006) (J. Math. Imaging and Vision - since April 2007). Previously I served on (Int. J. Image and Graphics - Jan. 2001-March 2006)

Employment Opportunities: We are always looking for talented recent PhD graduates and those aspiring to do a PhD. Of course, funding fluctuates so funds may not be available immediately. However, phd and undergraduates with impressive publications records are encouraged to submit their details so we can look at funding opportunities.

Research Goups

I established the Digital Perception lab (this site), I am a member of the ARC Centre for Perceptive and Intelligent Machines in Complex Environments, I was the leader of cross faculty team (Engineering and Science) to establish Vizlab (Monash research Funds) and also the leader of a team to establish the Institute for Vision Systems Engineering (Monash Research Funds)

I am also a member of the ARC Centre for Perceptive and Intelligent Macines in Complex Environments, the Intelligent Robotics Research Centre and I am associated with the Centre for Telecommunications and Information Engineering
